Green Lemonade




Most people would run away at the thought of drinking something which looks green, but if you gave it a shot, you’d be surprised to realize it taste quite good.
What makes the difference is the lemon and the apple/pear.
Ingredients to add to juicer:
* 1-2 apples/pears peeled/cored
* 1/2 cucumber, peeled
* a handful of spinach leaves
* 1-2 leaves of iceberg lettuce
* a few leaves of lettuce (optional)
* 2 celery stalks (peel the back of the stalks, to remove the stringy part)
* one handful parsley
* a small piece (1 inch at most) ginger, peeled
After juicing:
* juice of 1/2 lemon
Sometimes I toss in some basil as well or mint.
